About

I work in sound for motion picture - across production sound and audio post.

My focus is on capturing clear, honest performances on set and carrying that intention through the post-production process. Whether recording dialogue on location or shaping sound in the mix, the goal is always the same: sound that serves story, performance, and tone.

I've worked across feature films, television series, documentaries, and commercial productions, moving fluidly between departments. This dual perspective allows for a practical, considered approach to sound - informed by an understanding of both on-set workflow and post-production requirements.

Based in Cape Town, I collaborate with local and international production teams on projects ranging from long-form drama to fast-turnaround broadcast and branded content. Preparation, communication, and restraint are central to how I work.

Background

I trained in sound engineering with a focus on production sound and audio post, and have built my career through hands-on work across multiple departments - from boom operation and assisting to production sound mixing and post-production.

This progression has shaped a working method that values technical precision, adaptability, and collaboration under pressure.

Recognition

My work on the short film Yellow Ribbon was nominated for Best Sound Design at the VIZ Film Festival.

Available for production sound, post-production, and hybrid workflows on film, television, and commercial projects.
